QLD Test and Tag Regulations
The Testing and Tagging regulations enacted in QLD differ greatly from the rest of the country and are driven by the QLD Electrical Safety Regulations 2013. These regulations are based on 6 different Classes of Work and detail different test and tag retest frequencies for each Class of Work. Retest frequencies range from 6 monthly to 5 yearly depending on the Class of Work. The QLD Electrical Safety Regulations also specify the requirements for RCD installation and RCD testing based on Classes of Work.
We confirm ATS technicians in QLD are compliant with state specific training and licensing requirements and are holders of both Electrical Contractors licenses’ and QBCC licenses’ as appropriate.
Following recent changes to QBCC legislation in QLD, many of our QLD technicians can provide you with Exit and Emergency lighting system inspections in South East QLD.
