In response to client requests, Ainslie and Sarah Allen established Appliance Tagging Services (ATS) in 2002 as a division of their highly successful Victorian based award winning specialist electrical contracting company.
ATS soon became noted for their exceptional and professional customer service and quality of testing, and the client base expanded quickly.
Continually driven to provide their clients with exceptional service regardless of location, Sarah and Ainslie franchised the business in 2006. You can learn more about Sarah’s journey in the book Extraordinary Women in Franchising.
ATS clients Australia wide now have the benefit of local test and tag service providers, along with the experience, capability, reporting capabilities and professionalism ATS’s clients have come to know and expect.
ATS’s unique business model combines personal local technical service provided by our network of franchise operators, with our professional team in the ATS support office handling all scheduling, data management and invoicing.
ATS are proud members of the National Electrical Safety Testing Association (NESTA) and the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA).

Ainslie Allen
Managing Director
Ainslie is the Managing Director of ATS. Ainslie started operating his own business as an electrical contractor in 1988, and has a wealth of experience in appliance tagging, as well as general electrical systems. Ainslie is also a member of the standards review committee for AS/NZS 3760.
Sarah Allen
General Manager
Sarah Allen is the co-founder and General Manager of ATS, as well as the secretary of the National Electrical Safety Testing Association (NESTA). Overseeing franchise operations and working closely with its national client base, Sarah is an active spokeswoman for the importance of Safety in the Australian workplace.
Daniel Carabott
Franchise Development and Performance Manager
Daniel is responsible for franchisee development and performance at ATS. As the recipient of ATS Franchisee of the Year numerous times, he is uniquely able to understand how franchisees can develop their businesses to achieve success via hands on training.
Wayne Peters
Operations Manager
Wayne is the glue that holds us all together ensuring each team can deliver exceptional and seamless customer service. He’s a big picture man with big goals and is across all aspects of our business.
Kevin Wilson
Systems Integration Manager
Kevin has been with ATS since its inception. He heads up the team responsible for hardware and software, and is continually driven to provide efficiencies for our technicians and clients alike.
Shankary Ganesh
Service Manager
Managing our team of service schedulers, Shankary is our chief juggler of resources. She is solution focused and always puts the customer at the centre of each decision.
